FIT TIPS
Fit is the difference. It's the most important factor in choosing your wetsuit, gear, and accessories. If a fullsuit doesn't fit correctly, then it won't perform its most basic function: Keeping you warm.
Look for your fullsuit to fit snugly, tight to your body without limiting your natural range of motion or comfort. Like a new pair of shoes, after being worn 3 to 5 times, your fullsuit should be stretched in all the right places and will be at its most ideal fit.
STRATEGICALLY PLACED CURVED SEAMS
All Xcel fullsuits are designed with ergonomic seams, curved to fit the contours of your body and placed strategically to maximize stretch and minimize chafing and other discomforts.
TAPERED WRISTS AND ANKLES
Tapering helps minimize flushing, and also provides a better seal when wearing gloves or booties.
WATERTIGHT ENTRY SYSTEM
Both front and back entry fullsuits are designed with fit in mind. For example, front zipper systems, like the Drylock shown above, are placed on your upper chest where they won't interfere with stretching or paddling. Front entry systems also offer greater warmth because of the shorter zipper length (less opportunity for water to get in).
LESS SEAM MORE STRETCH
Every Xcel fullsuit is engineered with the minimal amount of seams to maximize stretch.
PRE-BENT KNEES AND ELBOWS
Joints are pre-bent to fit with the natural curves of your knees and elbows, maximizing comfort and mobility.
